1984 Rolex Explorer 1016 - Complete Set
A wonderful full set Explorer reference 1016, with 8.07m serial dating the production to 1984 — full set are difficult to come by these days. The watch comes with outer box (1016 sticker), inner box, oyster booklet, explorer booklet, translation booklet, green paper sleeve (correct reference 1016), original warranty papers dated 1990. The tritium Mk3 dial, which is correct for this serial range, and tritium hands have aged wonderfully to a deep custard color. Signs of use throughout as expected with this vintage watch. The case has been previously polished but still has decent thickness to it. The bracelet is in very good vintage condition with no slack. The caseback is engraved with its original owner’s name, also reflected on the original warranty papers.
