1998 Rolex GMT-Master 16700 Pepsi
The 16700 is the last iteration of the GMT-Master before the production of the GMT-Master II. This reference has a quick set date, which might be more useful or convenient for some than a jumping hour hand. Additionally, it has a SWISS only luminova dial, which was only produced between the transitional U and A serial years of production. The blue/red ‘Pepsi’ bezel has aged, with the red aging to a light pink, and the blue retaining its deep color. Very nice vintage vibes on this watch!
