1996 Rolex GMT-Master 16700 Pepsi - Box and Papers

$0.00
sold out

The 16700 is the last iteration of the GMT-Master before the production of the GMT-Master II. This reference has a quick set date, which might be more useful or convenient for some than a jumping hour hand. Incredibly sharp case, and tight bracelet. The tritium hands and dial have developed a light creamy patina, and briefly react under UV which is correct for this serial range. The fat font serif blue/red ‘Pepsi’ bezel has aged beautifully, with the red aging to a light pink, and the blue retaining its deep color.

Serial - Year: T9 serial ~1996

Bracelet - Strap: 78790 bracelet with Z clasp. Fits up to 7.5” wrist

Box - Papers - Accessories: Outer box, inner box, original hang tag with serial, original warranty papers dated 1/17/1998

Service History: Unknown. Running at 8s/d, 298 amplitude
