1989 Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 16523 4-Liner - RSC Card

$0.00
sold out

Not all Daytonas are the same! This fantastic example of a reference 16523 ‘Zenith’ Rolex Daytona, comes with a rare mark II dial (“4-liner”) and mark I bezel (“200 tachymetre”). If you take a closer look, this mark II dial is nicknamed the ‘4-Liner’ due to there being four lines on the dial, missing the words ‘OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED.’ The bezel has UPH situated above the 200 mark. The mark II dial was only produced in 1989 or early L serials, while the mark I bezel is found in the early 1988-1989 Daytonas. Majority of the watches on the market today, have replacement dials and/or bezels — making this one a rare find and fantastic addition to the collection. Sharp lugs, well-defined bezel and crown guards. Comes with a RSC card from 2013.

Serial - Year: L serial ~1989

Bracelet - Strap: 18k/ss oyster bracelet

Box - Papers - Accessories: RSC card dated 2013

Service History: 2013 via Rolex Service Center. Running at 2s/d, 287 amplitude
