1983 Rolex GMT-Master 16753 Rootbeer
This classic vintage two tone GMT reference 16753 with a brown dial and bi-colored brown/beige bezel, nicknamed “root beer” for its color combination, is in fantastic shape. The case remains thick and even, with square crown guards. The sunburst brown dial is showing some signs of its aging on the edges of the dial, markers as well as the date window, where specks of orange create a lava effect to these brown dials. The dial, and hands, which are tritium, no longer glow. The bracelet is in great shape for its age, with the correct 50 end links for the sport GMT - though its clasp appears to be a service clasp from a steel jubilee variant (62510H). Overall, a well-preserved vintage watch of its era.
