1982 Rolex Submariner 16800 Matte Dial

$0.00
sold out

Stunning Submariner reference 16800, the first Submariner date reference which transitioned into a sapphire crystal. This earlier 7.1m production of the 16800 has a matte dial, which has developed a really beautiful deep patina. The hands have also aged nicely. The pearl on the bezel has a deep amber color. Case and bracelet are fantastic for its age, showing sharp, well defined chamfers on the case. Teeth on the bezel are well defined. Crown on the clasp is raised, and the bracelet remains tight. Not a safe queen, but has maintained its sharpness throughout. Scratches are visible throughout the case as well as the bracelet. A name is engraved in the caseback, which can be removed if requested.

Serial - Year: 7.16m ~1982

Bracelet - Strap: 93150 bracelet with divers extension. G clasp code. Fits up to 7.75” wrist.

Box - Papers - Accessories: Watch only

Service History: Unknown. Running at -9s/d, 257 amplitude
