1981 Rolex Datejust 16030 Gray Dial
1981 6.5m serial Rolex Datejust reference 16030 with a quickset function. With datejusts being the most commonly modified watches, it is rare to find one that has aged wonderfully. The lume on both the dial and the hands have aged to a desirable uniform pumpkin patina, a nice color contrast to the gray sunburst dial and white text.
It comes on a Rolex USA jubilee bracelet that fits up to an 8” wrist (lots of extra links!) however it is fairly stretched considering the age.
The watch has just been serviced by my watchmaker this November, and has a 1-year warranty on the movement. It is running within COSC specs.
