2000 Rolex Datejust 16234 Red-Speckled Patina Dial
Originally silver, this dial has red-speckled patina throughout! The way it evenly developed gives it almost a fireworks effect. Based off of personal experience and handling, it appears this sort of patina develops from silver dials right after the transition to luminova, roughly around 1999-2000. While this sort of dial aging isn’t necessarily for everyone, this watch stands out among the ones that don’t age at all.
Serial - Year: K1 serial ~2000
Bracelet - Strap: 62510h bracelet with DE clasp. Fits up to 7.75” wrist
Box - Papers - Accessories: Watch only
Service History: Unknown. Running at 5s/d, 305 amplitude
