1984 Rolex GMT-Master 16750 No Date Dial

$11,950.00

The transitional model 16750 is the last of the plexi-crystal generation of the GMT-Master, and likely the first of the neo-vintage models that are easily slipping into true vintage territory. This early 8.4 serial 16750 has the rare “no date” dial, with the word ‘DATE’ missing after ‘OYSTER PERPETUAL’ - correct for its serial and age. The glossy dial with tritium hour markers has aged to a light creamy patina, with the hands aging slightly darker than the hour markers. Faint bubbling visible on the dial at certain lights. Minor crack on the hour hand. The tritium lume both on the dial and hands no longer glow, but exhibit very light specks of tritium under UV. Open 6/9 date wheel. The case is in great vintage shape and remains thick and even. Very minor slack on the oyster bracelet.

Serial - Year: 8.45m ~1984

Bracelet - Strap: 78360 bracelet with 580 endlinks and H clasp. 11 links. Fits up to 7” wrist

Box - Papers - Accessories: Watch only

Service History: Unknown. Running at 4s/d, 244 amplitude
