1974 Rolex Air-King 5500 with Box and Papers
A vintage time capsule Air-King reference 5500 with a sunburst dark silver dial and tritium lume plots and hands developing a deep custard patina. Strong case with very crisp lugs and sharp bezel, with very little signs of use on the high finish surfaces. The caseback is marked 1002 which is correct for this era. The 7835 folded link oyster bracelet is in fantastic condition, appears to be fully linked with no stretch. Very minor signs of use on the clasp. Original warranty papers are dated 1975, with the serial and reference handwritten and correct, most commonly done in South America where the watch was purchased (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
