Most collectors often seek the ‘perfect’ vintage watch that they overlook what makes vintage watches so attractive in the first place: that it has seemingly been ‘through it all.’

Original gilt dial and hands that glow briefly once exposed to UV, which is correct for this age. The dial shows spidering in a certain light, and there is a hand drag on the upper half of the dial due to improper installation of hands in the past. While the dial is not perfect, the 12, 3, 6, 9 markers have a small tinge of orange, with the rest of the markers a light lime-yellow which adds tons of unique character to the watch. It has a gorgeous period correct ‘long 5’ bezel insert faded to a dark navy blue. The case has been previously polished in the past. The caseback is newer replacement marked 5512. The watch comes on a brown leather strap.
